GE Could Buy Bard Offshore
General Electric Co. (GE) may be interested in buying German offshore wind-farm builder Bard Holding GmbH, Financial Times Deutschland said, citing people from the industry it didn’t name.
Bard Offshore, which is seeking a buyer for the 87 percent formerly held by company founder Arngolt Bekker, has received inquiries from potential buyers in Asia and the U.S. and expects to agree on a sale by the first quarter of next year, the German newspaper said, citing an interview with Chief Executive Officer Bernd Ranneberg.
