The supervisory board of LM Glasfiber Holding A/S, a Denmark-based manufacturer of wind turbines and blades, has appointed Richard Peter Hanson, co-founder and chief operating officer of London-based Doughty Hanson & Co., as chairman of the supervisory board.

In this position, Hanson will replace Mark Florman, who will be leaving the board to concentrate on other Doughty Hanson & Co. portfolio companies. Doughty Hanson acquired LM Glasfiber in March 2001. At the same time, Jan Amethier, nordic region head of Doughty Hanson & Co., was appointed a new member and deputy chair of the supervisory board.
