Description:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, commercial engineer will be supporting sales and contracting activities in China and South Korea.
Commercial engineers responsibilities include, internal project kick off meeting, project pre-calculation (price calculations), preparation of sales commitment memo, bid documents, coordination with other department and other task in connection with Tender and contract negotiations for large wind farm projects in China and Korea.
Using Vestas business systems commercial Engineer will also be responsible for updating of project data base and support preparation of sales forecast and report.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Preparations of Wind farm Tender
1 Kick off meeting to involved other departments
2 Cost and price calculations using Vestas pricing tools
3 Preparation of bind documents
4 Submission of sales commitment memo to Vestas Group prior to large tenders and signing of contracts.
Database update and sales forecasting
1 Update customer and project database on daily basis
2 Support commercial manager in connection with submission of data for sales forecasts, budgets and periodical reports.
Vestas business systems
1 Participate in establishment implementation and updating of working procedures for sales department
EDUCATION, TRAINING & SKILLS REQUIRED
1 Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships over an extended period of time.

QUALIFICATIONS
A relevant University degree in Engineering/technology with zero to 3 year working experience.
Other education back combines with at least 3 years experience in proposal/commercial/finance department of supplier of equipment for power industry will also be qualified.
Further:
1 Experience from proposal/commercial department in company from power industry, or related
2 Commercial experience from project sales
3 English language at negotiation level both spoken and written
4 Experienced user of Microsoft Office programs
5 Experience in data base software, sophisticated EXCEL spreadsheets and ERP software such as SAP
6 Basic knowledge of company finances.
