The 2008 European Wind Energy Conference will take place in Brussels, the heart of European politics, from 31 March ¨C 3 April.

The location of next years EWEC gives the event a European dimension and policy focus and offers business leaders, scientists and policy makers a unique opportunity to interact, exchange information and influence the legislative process at a critical juncture in its development.

Reflecting the increasing political support for wind energy, the conference will be chaired by EU Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs. The programme for EWEC 2008 will focus on our shared goal of building a secure, sustainable and competitive energy supply for the future.
