Brief:
Chinese government pays great attention to wind power industry, and the most important item is to develop new energy in the ¡°Eleventh Five-year Plan¡±. The ¡°Renewable Energy Law of People¡¯s Republic China¡± implemented on January 1st 2006, and a series of documents of preferential policy on wind power issued by the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation unitedly provide the guarantee for the utilization and development of renewable energy according to current laws and policies. The opportunity brought by the development of renewable energy in China has caused great attention from all the developed countries in renewable energy field. Inner Mongolia is very rich in wind resource, with a total reserve of 1.052 billion KW. Among which, 0.3 billion KW can be exploited with the current technology, accounting for 40 % of the total reserve of China and ranking Number 1 of China. By the end of 2005, the total installed capacity of the large scale power systems in the whole Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is only 170,000 KW. During the period of ¡°Eleventh Five-Year Plan¡±, large scale construction of wind-power generating facilities will bring along the localization of these facilities in Inner Mongolia, through the cooperation with some large enterprises at home or abroad, one or two wind turbine manufacturing bases will be constructed in Inner Mongolia, so as to localize the manufacture of wind-power generating facilities and to make the Chinese equipment reach the 70% of the whole equipment. In the future five years, Inner Mongolia is going to invest and produce wind-power generating facilities with a capacity of 5,000,000 KW, and the installed capacity of the wind-power generating systems will amount to 5,170,000 KW by the 2010, so as to make the capacity of the wind-power generating systems account for 7.5% of all the power generating systems in inner Mongolia. By the 2020, the capacity of wind-power generating systems will amount to 20,000,000 KW. Aim of the exposition£º Set up a communication platform for the whole industry, prosper Chinese wind energy market, and promote national wind energy industry.
