¡¿2008 Exhibition Prospect
With the implementation of China Renewable Energy Law and the ¡°11th Five-year Plan¡± on the January 1st of 2006, the potential wind energy market in China will usher its prosperous perspectives. By 2010, the installed gross capacity of national blowers will reach 5 million KW. By 2015, it will reach 10 million KW. By 2020, even 30 million KW. The newly installed gross capacity of blowers was 500 thousand KW in China. It grew by 254% and consequently reached 1.27 million KW. Last year, the gross electric capacity made by the 62 wind power plants distributed in 15 provinces in China amounted to 1.53 billion KW. By 2005, the imported blower equipment has accounted for 77 percent of the total Chinese market including the world-class enterprises.
¡¡Our country has a rich resources of wind energy, the available reserve of wind energy from offshore and sea is approximately 0.75 billion KW. The available wind energy in the southeastern offshore area and the Yangtze River area accounts for two thirds of that of the whole country. It plays a very important role that to reasonably exploit the wind energy resources in the offshore and sea, which is also the strategy aim of the ¡°11th Five-year Plan¡± of the southeastern offshore area and Yangtze River area. At the same time, Shanghai government has already formulated the concrete ¡°11th Five-year Plan¡± and ¡°2020 long-run perspective¡± for the wind power generation. During the period of ¡°11th Five-year Plan¡±, a scale of 200 thousand KW to 30 thousand KW wind power plant will come into being, which accounts for about 2 percent of the total power capacity of Shanghai. By 2020, a scale of 1 million KW wind power plant will come into being which will account for 5 percent of the total power capacity of Shanghai.
